IMPORTANT: These terms govern your use of the Easy Cater platform. Please read them carefully before using our services. By accessing or using Easy Cater, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Easy Cater is a platform that brings people together over food and events. We genuinely love hearing from you — whether it is glowing praise for a caterer who exceeded your expectations, an honest account of something that went wrong, or a detailed review of your dining experience. Your feedback matters enormously. It helps other users make informed choices, and it helps our merchant partners improve their service.

That said, we have a responsibility to ensure our platform remains a trustworthy, respectful, and useful space for everyone — users, merchants, Delivery Pilots, and event professionals alike. The guidelines below tell you what we expect from every person who uses Easy Cater.

Reviews, photographs, profile information, and all other content you contribute are publicly visible and subject to the guidelines set out below. If your activity does not meet these standards, Easy Cater reserves the right to take appropriate action, including modifying, removing, or disabling your content, restricting your review privileges, or suspending your account.
A.1
The Easy Cater Code of Conduct

Keep It Clear and Relevant
Your contributions should make sense to any reader and should be genuinely relevant to the Easy Cater platform. Reviews must relate to your actual experience — the food, the service, the ambiance, the catering quality, or the event logistics. Junk content, random emojis used as a substitute for meaningful text, promotional material disguised as reviews, and content that spams merchants will be removed. If your content has been removed and you repost a similar piece, we reserve the right to remove that too.

Keep It Clean and Respectful
This platform is used by people of all ages and backgrounds. There is no place here for abusive language, threats, obscenity, or hate speech — whether directed at a merchant, a delivery pilots, another user, or any identifiable group. Content that disparages people based on religion, gender, caste, race, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic will be removed immediately. Personal vendettas masquerading as reviews are equally unwelcome.

Keep It Fresh
One experience, one review. Please do not submit multiple reviews for a single dining or ordering experience. Your most recent experience is what helps others the most. Reviews describing experiences that are more than six months old may be removed, as they may no longer reflect the current reality of the business.

Keep It Real and Honest
Write only about what you personally experienced. Do not submit reviews based on what a friend told you, what you read in the news, or hearsay. Do not exaggerate or fabricate. Content that clearly indicates the reviewer has never visited the business or used the service will be removed without notice.

Do Not Solicit or Misrepresent
You may not identify yourself as an official Easy Cater blogger, reviewer, or representative, nor may you use any real or perceived affiliation with Easy Cater to obtain free meals, special treatment, or other benefits from merchants. You may not threaten negative reviews to extract concessions. Reports of such conduct will lead to immediate account termination.

Be Honest About Your Relationship with a Business
If you received a complimentary meal, attended an invite-only tasting, or have any personal or commercial relationship with a merchant, disclose that clearly in your review. Readers deserve to understand the context. We may remove reviews where such relationships are not disclosed.

Do Not Steal or Plagiarise
Create your own content. Copying reviews or photographs from other platforms, or reposting your own content multiple times, is not permitted. Plagiarism will lead to content removal and may result in account suspension.

Be Yourself and Stay Safe
Your profile is your identity here. While you are welcome to use a screen name, your profile must not include inappropriate names, offensive images, or misleading bios. Suspected bot accounts, fake profiles, or accounts showing signs of coordinated inauthentic behaviour will be suspended. Please remember that everything you publish is publicly visible. Do not share personal information such as your phone number, bank account details, addresses, or card numbers in reviews, usernames, or comments. Easy Cater may remove content containing such information to protect your safety.

Do Not Bully or Blackmail
Using the threat of a negative review to extract money, free services, upgrades, or other benefits from a merchant is a serious violation of these guidelines. It may also be illegal under Indian law. Reviews submitted with blackmailing intent will be deleted and reported to appropriate authorities if required.

Play by the Rules
All content must comply with Easy Cater's Terms of Service and applicable Indian law, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act 2000, the Consumer Protection Act 2019, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023. Where local laws impose more stringent standards, those standards apply.

A.2
Photo Guidelines

A clear, well-lit photograph of a beautifully plated meal can tell a better story than a thousand words. We encourage you to upload photographs that genuinely help others understand what to expect. However, the following standards apply:

  • Photos must be clear, in-focus, and directly related to the food, drink, ambiance, or event venue being reviewed.
  • Photographs of people (other than as incidental background) require explicit consent from those photographed.
  • Photographs that are duplicates, taken from slightly different angles of the same subject, or plagiarised from other sources will not be accepted.
  • Blurry, pixelated, or irrelevant photographs will not be published on merchant listing pages.
  • Photographs of half-eaten food, food packaging, food under preparation, or items with watermarks or promotional text overlaid are not eligible for merchant page display.
  • Photographs that are unpleasant or likely to discourage legitimate patronage without serving any informational purpose will be removed.
  • Promotional content of any kind is not permitted in user-submitted photographs.
Note: Photographs that do not meet the standards for merchant page display may still appear alongside your review or on your profile page.
A.3
Content Reporting

If you come across content on Easy Cater that you believe violates these guidelines or our Terms of Service, please report it by writing to us at support@easycater.co.in. We review all reports and will take appropriate action. Please understand that content which you personally find objectionable may not always meet the threshold for removal — context matters, and we try to be fair to all parties involved.

C.5 — Platform Services

C.5.1 - Food Ordering and Delivery
Easy Cater enables you to browse menus from restaurants, cloud kitchens, and street food vendors, place orders, and have food delivered to your door. Easy Cater acts as an intermediary platform and is not itself a restaurant or food producer.

Key points:

  • Prices displayed are set by individual merchants and include applicable GST. Final prices may occasionally vary from those displayed due to real-time updates.
  • Orders are placed by you as a consumer directly with the merchant.
  • Delivery is carried out by independent Delivery Pilots. Easy Cater is not the employer of Delivery Pilots and is not responsible for delays, damaged packaging, or incorrect delivery caused by third-party logistics factors beyond our control.
  • You must be present at the delivery address or arrange someone to receive your order.
  • Special instructions provided with your order are executed on a best-efforts basis. Easy Cater and the merchant cannot guarantee exact compliance with all instructions.

C.5.2 Dine-In Reservations
Easy Cater facilitates table reservations at partner restaurants. A booking fee of Rs. 50 per person may be charged at the time of reservation and is adjustable against your food and beverage bill at the restaurant, subject to the restaurant's policies. Details of our cancellation policy for dine-in reservations are set out in Part F.

C.11 — Disclaimer of Warranties

The Easy Cater Platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. While we make every effort to maintain a reliable and accurate platform, we make no warranties — express or implied — regarding the uninterrupted availability of the Platform, the accuracy of merchant information, the quality of food or services provided by merchants, or the timeliness of deliveries.

Food quality, safety, and the accuracy of menu descriptions are the sole responsibility of the respective merchants. Easy Cater is not liable for food-related illness, allergic reactions, or other harm arising from consumption of food ordered through the Platform, except to the extent such harm is directly attributable to Easy Cater's own negligence.

C.12 — Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, EasyCater Services Platform Private Limited's liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific order or booking giving rise to the claim. C.15 — Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through our grievance redressal mechanism (see Part J).
  • If amicable resolution fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vadodara, Gujarat.
  • Any legal action must be commenced within one year of the event giving rise to the claim.

C.16 — Termination

You may delete your account at any time by going to Profile > Settings > Security > Delete Account, or by writing to us at support@easycater.co.in. Easy Cater may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to the Platform, its users, or its merchant partners. Termination does not affect any accrued rights or liabilities.

These Merchant Terms govern the enrollment and participation of restaurants, cloud kitchens, catering services, street food vendors, and event venues ('Merchants') on the Easy Cater Platform. D.7 — Responding to Customer Reviews

You are welcome — and we encourage you — to respond to customer reviews professionally through the Platform's management response feature. A thoughtful response to critical feedback demonstrates care for your customers. However, responses must not:

  • Be abusive, threatening, or defamatory.
  • Offer the reviewer an incentive to modify or remove their review.
  • Dispute factual matters in an aggressive or misleading way.

Management responses cannot be edited once posted, so please choose your words carefully.

D.8 — Intellectual Property

You confirm that you hold all rights to the content (menus, photographs, branding materials) you submit to Easy Cater, and you grant Easy Cater a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use that content for operating and promoting the Platform. Easy Cater retains ownership of the Platform's design, codebase, and all data analytics generated through Platform operations.

  • The merchant is in material breach of these Terms.
  • The merchant's FSSAI licence or GST registration lapses or is cancelled.

Upon termination, any outstanding settlements will be processed after deducting all amounts owed to Easy Cater. Any refunds due to customers on account of unfulfilled orders remain the responsibility of the merchant.

D.10 — Easy Cater's Neutrality

Easy Cater is a neutral intermediary platform. Merchant owners, employees, and associates with a business interest in a listing may not submit reviews for that listing. This policy exists to protect the integrity of the review system and the trust of our users.

No Easy Cater employee or representative is authorised to solicit free meals, discounts, or special treatment from merchants in exchange for favourable treatment on the Platform. If a person claiming to be from Easy Cater makes such requests, please report it to support@easycater.co.in immediately.

These Terms govern your participation as a Delivery Pilot on the Easy Cater Delivery Pilot Application. By completing the onboarding process and accepting delivery assignments, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  • The delivery was attempted but you were not available to receive it and did not respond to contact attempts.
  • You provided an incorrect delivery address.
  • The issue relates to your personal taste preferences rather than an objective quality failure.
  • You have previously misused the refund mechanism (repeated false complaints).

G.1 — How You Earn Points

Every rupee you spend on Easy Cater earns you 1 Loyalty Point. Points are earned across all transactions on the Platform — food orders, dine-in bookings, catering and event bookings, helper bookings, and all future service categories added to the Platform.

Example: If you place a food order worth Rs. 350 inclusive of delivery charge and taxes, you earn 350 Loyalty Points.

G.2 — How You Redeem Points

  • You become eligible to redeem your Loyalty Points once your cumulative spending on Easy Cater reaches Rs. 2,500.
  • After reaching the Rs. 2,500 milestone, you can redeem 1% of your accumulated points per transaction.
  • 1 Loyalty Point = 1 Paise. So 2,500 points can be redeemed for Rs. 25 off your order.
  • Redemption is available across all service categories — food, events, helpers, and beyond.
  • Points are deducted instantly at checkout when you choose to redeem them.

G.3 — Points Validity and Conditions

  • Loyalty Points do not expire as long as your account remains active.
  • Points earned on cancelled or refunded orders will be reversed.
  • Points are non-transferable and have no cash equivalent outside the Platform.
  • Easy Cater reserves the right to modify the loyalty programme structure, earning rates, and redemption rates with reasonable notice to users.
  • Abuse of the loyalty system (such as placing and cancelling orders repeatedly to accumulate points, or gaming through referral fraud) will result in points forfeiture and possible account suspension.

G.4 — Milestone Benefits Planned

The Curate Events module enables you to plan and book complete events - from catering and venues to event helpers. These terms govern all such bookings.

H.1 — Venue Bookings (Lawns and Banquets)

  • Venue listings are provided by independent venue operators. Easy Cater acts as a booking intermediary and is not liable for the quality, suitability, or compliance of any venue.
  • All venue bookings require 100% advance payment at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation terms applicable to venue bookings are set out in Part F.3.
  • Capacity limits, parking, and amenities information is provided by venue operators. Easy Cater does not independently verify this information. Please confirm details directly with the venue before booking.

  • Catering services are provided by independent catering businesses listed on the Platform.
  • Plate pricing is set by individual caterers and displayed on their listing pages.
  • Service staff (waiters, setup helpers, cleanup crew) may be booked through the Helper ecosystem at Rs. 300 per helper per hour.
  • Final guest count adjustments are typically accepted up to 5–7 days before the event. Adjustments after this window are at the caterer's discretion.
  • 100% advance payment is required at the time of booking.
  • All catering service providers are required to hold valid FSSAI licences. Easy Cater verifies licences at onboarding but cannot guarantee that licences remain valid at the time of service. Please check the caterer's licence status before booking if this is important to you.

H.3 — Custom Menu Curation

Easy Cater's custom menu feature allows you to customize event menus by selecting dishes from multiple caterers' menus. Pricing is calculated on a per-plate basis and updated in real time as you add or remove items.

Conditions:

  • Custom menus must be confirmed by all participating caterers before the booking is finalised.
  • Dietary customisation requests (e.g., no onion, reduced spice) are communicated to the caterer on a best-efforts basis and cannot be guaranteed.
  • If a caterer subsequently withdraws from a confirmed custom menu booking, Easy Cater will assist in finding a replacement or offer an appropriate refund.

H.4 — Helper Ecosystem

  • Helpers are independent contractors available for event setup, food serving, guest management, and post-event cleanup.
  • Standard rate: Rs. 300 per helper per hour, subject to change with prior notice.
  • Full payment is required at time of booking.
  • Cancellation terms are as stated in Part F.4.
  • Easy Cater verifies helper identities and maintains ratings-based quality controls. However, you should brief your helpers clearly about your specific requirements at the event.
  • Easy Cater is not responsible for any damages to property or incidents caused by helpers while engaged at your event. Any disputes regarding helper conduct should be reported to support@easycater.co.in.
